New Site and A Return to WordPress

I decided to create a website devoted to making and projects. There may be some overlap with my personal website, but I wanted a site with less focus on me and more on projects and creativity.

Older sites and versions of those sites were built in WordPress. For reasons I don’t remember, I moved from WP to Ghost, back to WP and then various flat file CMS platforms. There were challenges with functionality or cumbersome interfaces, but primarily, theming was the biggest issue. WordPress is very well maintained with a huge community of theme and plugin developers, and having already purchased a few themes, the choice was clear.
